South Jersey Softball ("we," "us," or "our") operates southjerseysoftball.com, a directory and registration platform for youth softball tournaments, tryouts, camps, teams, and facilities in South Jersey. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you create an account, register a player, submit a listing, contact us, or purchase a registration or sponsorship, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, player or team details, and payment information. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) provided by your Google account.
We also automatically collect limited technical information — such as pages visited and general usage patterns — through privacy-respecting analytics tools to help us understand how the site is used and to improve it.
We use the information we collect to create and manage accounts, process tournament, tryout, camp, and sponsorship registrations, process payments, respond to inquiries, send confirmations and important updates about events you've registered for, and maintain and improve the site.
Payments made through South Jersey Softball are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers — payment details are handled directly by our payment processor in accordance with their own security standards and privacy practices.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site — including our hosting provider, authentication and database provider, payment processor, and email delivery service — and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services. We may also share information with the organizer of an event you register for, and where required by law.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand aggregate site usage through analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work properly without them.
We retain account and registration information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may update your account information at any time, or contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legitimate business and legal retention needs.
Our services are directed to parents, coaches, and team administrators, not directly to children. Player information (such as a child's name and age) is submitted by a parent, coach, or team administrator, not collected directly from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
